About

I am Assistant Curator of Manuscripts at the William L. Clements Library. Currently, I serve on the board of the Michigan Archival Association and am the association's archivist.

Background

I began working in the Manuscripts Division of the Clements Library in 2002 and have been Assistant Curator of Manuscripts since 2009. I obtained my M.S.I. degree from the University of Michigan's School of Information in 2009, with a specialization in Archives and Records Management. I earned a bachelor's degree in philosophy from the University of Michigan in 2005.

Responsibilities

As Assistant Curator of Manuscripts, I work with the Curator on a variety of tasks in the Manuscripts Division. I assist with collection management and processing tasks, grant-funded initiatives, exhibits, and special projects. I edit and revise EAD and MARC records for the Manuscripts Division, provide assistance to volunteers and other staff members with Manuscripts Division Projects, and assist patrons.
