Walk-In Exhibit Browsing

The Clements Library welcomes you to join us to learn more about the Clements’ early American history collections and browse our current exhibit, “The Art of Resistance in Early America” — which closes April 2024.

Open Hours are offered Monday – Friday from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Guided Tours – Held monthly

Starting in the Clements Library’s behind-the-scenes meeting space, we begin with a brief slide presentation and viewing of collections materials. We will conclude upstairs in the Avenir Foundation Reading Room to view the artwork, printing press, and realia on display. Tours are approximately 60 minutes in length. Please allow ample time for parking and plan to arrive to check in about 10 minutes before your tour time.

Please Note: The University of Michigan encourages visitors to wear masks when inside facilities.
