An area of traditional interest for everyone from school children to autograph collectors to historians, the American Presidency is also a traditional area of interest for the Clements Library's collecting.

Scope and contents:

Primarily an autograph collection, the U.S. Presidents Collection contains miscellaneous letters and documents signed by presidents of the United States. Thirty-three presidents are represented, from Washington through Gerald Ford.
