Scope and Contents:

Correspondence of the Peet family of Vermont.

This collection relates to an early nineteenth-century New England family. Most of the letters were written from Manchester, Vt., by the children of Samuel W. Peet to their father in New Milford, Conn. The letters contain some references to Vermont politics and the War of 1812.
