Scope and Contents:

Journal of Thomas Duggan, storekeeper and clerk in the Indian Department, stationed at Michilimackinac.

This journal contains daily accounts of visits made to Fort Michilimackinac by the Indians. Conversations and agreements made with the various chiefs and tribes are recorded. The journal contains a detailed ledger for trade in food and skins carried on at the fort.
