Business papers of the New York City iron merchant Garrett Byvanck Abeel and the firm of Abeel and Dunscomb.

The collection includes 53 business letters and 206 receipts, orders, notices of shipments, and miscellaneous commercial documents. The items relating to Garrett Abeel are dated 1792-1816; those of the firm of Abeel and Dunscomb, 1816-1827.
