Directions to the Clements Library

The Clements Library is located at 909 South University Avenue on the south side of the "Diag," the main central campus area of the University. The Library is flanked on its left by the house of the President, on its right by the Undergraduate Library, and behind by the Hatcher Graduate Library, the largest building on the Diag. The Law Quadrangle and Martha Cook dormitory are across the street.

The entrance for researchers is located at the back of the building, facing the south side of Hatcher Graduate Library.

Parking in Ann Arbor

Parking in Ann Arbor can be difficult to find, particularly during the academic year (September through May). Parking may be found on the streets south of the library (Tappan Street and further south), but may more reliably be found in the parking structures on South Forest (three blocks east of the library on South University, and one half block south on South Forest), Maynard Street (between William and Liberty Streets), and off of Thompson Street, (behind the Michigan Union between East Jefferson and East Madison).
