
Directions to Ann Arbor
From I-94, headed west (from Detroit)
Take the State Street exit (Exit 177) headed north into town. South University Avenue intersects State Street upon entering the central campus area (approximately 1.5 miles), immediately after the passing the Law Quadrangle.
From I-94, headed east (from Jackson)
Take the Jackson Road exit (Exit 172) into town, and remain on Jackson (which changes name to Huron Street) to its intersection with State Street. Turn south (right) on State.
From Route 23
Take the Plymouth Road exit (Exit 41) and follow Plymouth Road into town.
From elsewhere
The most convenient routes to Ann Arbor are by train to Ann Arbor (through either Chicago or Detroit) or by plane into Detroit Metro Airport, located approximately 25 miles east of Ann Arbor on I-94. Convenient ground transportation is available through the airport limousine service Commuter Transit, by cab, or car rental.
